2012: Harding made seven saves in six games as the team's backup goalkeeper as a freshman.

Prior to Owens: Harding attended Great Lakes Christian College in Lansing, MI for one semester, but did not play soccer prior to joining the Express. He has played for the Michigan Alliance FC and Howell Revolution club teams.

Personal: JD is the son of Angela Harding. He has two sisters, Aubrey and Ashley.
